What we’re about
The NJ Drone User Group (part of The Drone Group) is all about getting together to Help and Learn about the technology behind building and flying a UAV* (or sUAS*) drone, as well as how to use it safely and sensibly for fun and commercial use. We fly most weekends, weather and TFRs permitting (Temporary Flight Restriction, such as when POTUS is in the area) at various locations.
I formed the NJ Drone User Group ([NjDug.org](https://thedronegroup.org/?Nj%20Drone#xl_xr_page_nj%20group)) in 2o14 and hold Flying, Building, Training and Social events throughout NJ and adjacent States - I plan putting on Drone Expos and to build a new NJ racing league. If you'd like to sponsor and/or help with either, reach out to me.
Whether you're an expert or have only just begun, come and join the fun with our GREAT members. Bring the Family as we are a Kid friendly group...

Forecast looks GREAT for flying - Check Nix Weather Station link below....A town sports field that we have the Mayor's permission to use as a group..... FPV mini-quads okay and, if you request ahead of time, I'll get the gates and cubes out of storage so we can setup a mini race course....

Our Mini Airstrip with north and east/west runways in a T shape can be used for Drones or Planes. There's plenty of space around to fly over and out towards the lake......
