Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, Canoeing, walks in parks and along beaches & other outdoor events.

Welcome all to our fun hiking & outdoors group for people to go out for outdoor activities, hiking, walking, biking, kayaking and post hiking /outdoor activities optionally people can go out for lunch/dinner or a drink. Our group is volunteer, nonprofit no obligation and flexible group created for people to enjoy hiking & outdoor activities, have fun, socialize, unwind, take a break make new friends and create good precious memories and help each other in need

MEMBERSHIP POLICY:
Very imp understand this is NOT a dating group, some of our members are in a relationship or if single may not be interested in a relationship at this moment in their life. People can always connect outside the group. Members & their guests of this group are expected to conduct themselves in a way that is respectful, mindful and considerate of themselves and other participants during all our events.

It is recommended to have a picture posted on your meetup profile
People pay individually for their expenses if required.
Weather permitting and any other unknown unexpected unforeseen reason, event organizers have the right to cancel events anytime.
It is recommended that people have got vaccinated with 1st and 2nd doses of COVID vaccine 
We ask everyone to RSVP for events, excluding personal emergency. give enough time for last minute changes to event organizers to plan outdoor events as per the headcount

We suggest all to join our hiking and outdoor activities. The meetup Organizer reserves the right to drop individuals from the group for lack of participation, inappropriate behavior, and actions not in the best interests of the group and people not following COVID guidelines as per the CDC and NJ health department for indoors and outdoor activities.

We take into account that everyone has their health insurance or savings for themselves & their guests for their medical conditions and treatment of injuries occurred during hiking & outdoor & indoor activities.. The organizer & co organizers & group members cannot be held liable for any type of damages during our activities. Please let your event organizer know anything you want to share and we should be aware of your wellbeing.

We welcome suggestions/ideas/proposals from people. Anything creative, innovative you think can add value to our group and activities, please do drop a note to the organizer.

If you join us for a hike (or any other event), please understand that you are responsible for your own preparedness and well-being and will hold no one else liable in case of injury or mishap. You agree not to hold the Organizer, Assistant Organizers, or any other members responsible for any injuries, mishaps, or any other situation that may happen at a planned event. You are responsible to research the event, knowing the area, and bringing the proper gear.
NJ Hiking & outdoor meetup group does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals who may participate in any of the events planned by the Organizer, Assistant organizer, or event host.
This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated, and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss, and liability.
Your attendance on a hike & all outdoor events signifies that you have read and accepted the terms of this liability waiver. By signing up for this group or event you understand that you are attending all events at your own risk. Organizers and Assistant Organizers of this group are just that, we organize the events and hike together as friends. There are no leaders on these hikes, you are your own leader.
