What we’re about
This group is to get together and knit or work on whatever project you are working on.
The goal is to help one another get through the different steps and work towards starting new projects and finishing them with each other’s support.
Beginners will get the support that they need and experienced knitters will get the enjoyment of helping out.
Another goal is to make new friends.
We will have one project that we will knit along together which we will choose sometimes by me, and other times together and then I will bring in the pattern for all those who attend. There may be times when you choose the project that we all do.
It is not necessary that you start the group at the beginning of a project due to everyone’s knitting speed and time spent working on it will be different. Therefore, it is a good idea to bring an alternate project to work on as well. You may also not want to knit what the knit along is so bring your own project to work on.
Everyone is welcome. Come when you want and bring whatever you are working on.
For now, we will meet either at a Panera and when the group grows, we may move it to a larger public venue.
