If speed always wins, why does anyone waste time in processes that are slow by design?

While we're asleep, our competitors are

  • churning through all the deals in their pipeline
  • performing all aspects of necessary due-diligence

evaluate the overall deal,
appraise any risks,
survey the area,
decide.

Even those steps take longer than they should,

Since we can't speed up a process that isn't even in place,

and optimize within there once it's working.
