PLEASE NOTE: Due to inclement weather on Sept 13, 2026 (Sun), this event is advanced to Sept 12, 2026 (Sat).
All the below events will happen in the same park (i.e. Roosevelt Park, Edison). One can attend any of these events or all of these.
1 of 3: Mobility, stretching, balance, mindful movement, and breathing. Lead by Anup. Apprx. Time: 30 minutes
2 of 3: Walk in the park. Easy level. 2.3 miles. Apprx. Time 1 hour.
3 of 3: Garba basic class (Garba is a form of Indian folk dance played during Navratri festival wearing beautiful Indian ethnic wear). No prior knowledge is required. If you can walk, you can play Garba. Just join with enthusiasm. Lead by Hemal. Apprx. Time: 45 minutes
Please RSVP if you want to join. Your presence could motivate others. If your plans change and you cannot make it, no problem, just change the RSVP accordingly. Simple and effective communication.
