Montclair Jazz Festival - Lackawanna Block Party

Come enjoy a fun filled day in Montclair with live jazz music!

A gathering spot will be provided soon. This is a popular event so please if you do not plan on attending change your RSVP so that others may come.

Below is the full day schedule but we plan on meeting at 5:00 p.m. to see the special guest Jazz artists followed by a DJ spinning some soul and funk to finish the night!

12pm-4pm: Student musicians taking part in the JAZZ HOUSE Summer Workshop (12-4 pm).

4pm-7pm: Special guest artists will hit the stage.

7pm - 10pm: DJ Brother Mister (aka Christian McBride) takes the stage for an incredible, diverse and inter-generational boogie fest and one of the largest street dance parties Montclair has ever seen. McBride, a huge fan of this genre, will be spinning his old school soul and funk favorites.
