Eagle Rock 4 Mile Hike Highlawn Pavilion Amazing View!

The Monday morning hike series continues at
Eagle Rock Reservation

Start Time: 10:30 AM
Location: The gazebo across from the Highlawn Pavilion
Arrival: Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early if you haven’t been to this meeting spot before.

Trail Info:
• Distance: 4 miles total (lollipop loop)
• 0.5 miles out
• 3-mile loop
• 0.5 miles back
• Route:
• Start on the Yellow (Lenape) Trail — great views of the NYC skyline
• Connect to Red, then Blue, followed by Green, and back to Yellow
• Elevation: Under 500 feet — generally beginner-friendly
• Exit Option: You can opt out after 3 miles if needed

What to Bring:
• Good hiking shoes
• Water
• Snacks
• Dress for the weather

Notes:
• This is a social hike, not a guided tour.
• You are responsible for your own safety and preparedness.
• If you’re bringing guests, they must also understand these terms.
