Eerste WordPress Meetup Rotterdam in 2020

Op maandagavond 27 januari zal de eerste WordPress Meetup van 2020 plaatsvinden bij Level Level Rotterdam. Drie enthousiaste sprekers komen deze avond hun verhaal vertellen.

➡️ 1e Talk 🎙️ Hello World: The Challenges We Face when Creating A Multilingual WordPress Project by Taeke en Rosanne.

WordPress is no longer just a blogging system. Every day developers are pushing the limits and creating more and more complex projects with WordPress. Yet, it seems that for some cases we keep reinventing the wheel, for example when building a multilingual website or webshop.

In this talk, we will discuss the currently available scenarios of creating a multilingual project. By pointing out the different solutions and analysing each of their challenges, complexities and risks we take the opportunity to illustrate our vision on how to implement multilingual features in the 4th phase of Gutenberg.

🙋‍♀️ bio 1: Rosanne is the co-founder of Buro Staal, a small digital agency in The Netherlands. She believes that a website isn't the end product, but the start of a process that consists of analyzing and optimizing. Her main focus is getting the best out of every budget to create a userfriendly website that help her clients grow their company.

🙋‍♂️bio 2: Taeke is an all-round WordPress professional and the founder and CEO of Level Level, a full service WordPress agency based in Rotterdam (NL).
Having a skilled team in Rotterdam, Taeke tries to take any opportunity to work remote. Often from the south of Spain but whenever possible from new destinations.
