Microsoft Q# and Azure Quantum

Details

You've probably heard about quantum computing, but it still remains a mystery? In this overview session, specifically targeted to software developers, I will explain important quantum concepts like qubits, superposition, and entanglement. Theoretical knowledge about quantum physics, quantum circuits, quantum gates, and quantum algorithms will be combined with examples using the Microsoft Quantum Developer Kit and the quantum programming language Q#. Using Q#, I will walk you through popular quantum circuits like entanglement, teleportation and the more complex CHSH-game. Finally, I will tell you about the brand-new Azure Quantum: the future of quantum computing in the cloud by Microsoft. Don’t be afraid, there will be some mathematics involved, but each problem has a tool that offers a solution. For quantum: mathematics is our preferred tool.
