This Meetup will be about Architecture, 3D printing and sustainability.

What do we want them to be and how can they be involved? You always wanted to be an an Architect? Come and feel like one!

If enough interested people attend I will give a short presentation and we will do a worklshop. I will tell shortly about my vision on architecture. What it was, what it is and what it could be ... Or maybe should be? And how I learned to look at it from a whole different (more artistic) angle.

I am originally an Interior architect and later 3D designer and 3D print enthousiast. With an Art oriented base instead of a technical one. With which I want to excite you as an attendee. I want to inspire you and challenge you in a small workshop and brainstorm. To think of (unusual)solutions with no restrictions.

Hope that it will make you feel like you are Frank Gehry (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Gehry) or Ludwig Mies vd Rohe (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_Mies_van_der_Rohe) or maybe Zaha Hadid (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaha_Hadid) or Le Corbusier (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Corbusier). Later we will discuss and see if (maybe) it could be 3D printed. But also in what kind of materials you want make it so it will be sustainable. And if that all is possible with your wildest idea.

Attendees will be asked to brainstorm and than visualize and make a lil maquette.

We will provide some of the needed materials. But if you have the following at home please bring it with you (not a whole truckload but enough to make a lil model):

• cardboard or boxes (karton of een doos)

• pU foam or foamboard (PU schuim of foamboard)

• welding wire (stijve lasdraad)

• cutter / scissors (afbreekmes of schaar)

• steel ruler (stalen lineaal)

• glue (lijm of lijmpistool)

• 19:30 opening

• 19:45 short introduction and presentation of the workshop

• 20:00 workshop starts

• 21:00 discussing the results

• 21:30 and Snacks and drinks
