Episode 2 - Anxiety: The Need for Control

What if anxiety wasn’t a problem to get rid of — but a signal from the body asking for safety?

This is the second gathering of The Embodied Emotions Series, a space to meet our feelings through awareness and movement.
Each session focuses on one emotion, not to fix it, but to listen to what it’s trying to say.

This time, we’ll explore anxiety, the subtle or overwhelming tension that often hides behind our need to control things.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • How anxiety shows up in the body and nervous system
  • The link between uncertainty, safety, and control
  • How to ground through breath, touch, and presence
  • Ways to create inner safety without shrinking or pushing away life

You’ll be guided through gentle somatic exercises, breath-based grounding, and moments of reflection and sharing - so you can begin to feel safe from the inside out.
