Join us for a 3-hour introductory sewing class where you’ll learn to thread a sewing machine and understand its essential functions. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll create your own handmade tote bag to take home. No experience is necessary.

Flux Core Welding for Beginners is a class that introduces participants to the process of gasless flux core welding at the hobbyist level. Gasless flux core welding is a welding process that is popular with hobbyists because it is quick, easy, and can work off common household power. It's not as versatile as TIG or MIG and is slower than MIG, but it's incredibly accessible for the beginner welder. This class will cover welding safety, machine setup, basic welding concepts, and material preparation first. Once all that is done, participants will learn about forming a weld puddle and shortly after running a bead using filler wire. Lastly the class will cover welding different types of joints. This class only covers GASLESS flux core welding on 120v and not dual shield flux core welding and is intended to give the foundation for students to begin developing their skills.
