LLM-Based Applications That Have Memory & Supercharging Development with LLMs

Details

On July 20th, we will have another hybrid event with two presentations on "Building LLM-Based Applications That Have Memory" and "From Zero to Hero: Supercharging Development with LLMs" by Tuana Çelik, Developer Advocate at deepset and Samuel Shapley, Data Analyst at Teya! 🎉

Sponsored by deepset.ai, the creators of the enterprise-grade OSS NLP framework Haystack 😃

The event takes place in London and there will be a live stream via Zoom. On this page here you can register to participate in person. The registration for the live stream is organized via our Open NLP sister group on a different page: https://www.meetup.com/open-nlp-meetup/events/294307602/

🎤 Building LLM-Based Applications That Have Memory
by Tuana Çelik
In this talk, Tuana will show how a particular style of prompting has given rise to the existence of LLM based Agents. We will see the strengths and weaknesses of this application, as well as some examples of how to build your own with the open source NLP framework Haystack. Finally, we will also discuss how we can provide LLMs with a straightforward 'memory' to build systems that can retain a conversational flow.

🎤 From Zero to Hero: Supercharging Development with LLMs
by Samuel Shapley
Through practical tips and demonstration, attendees will discover how to initiate, manage, and accelerate their development process using LLMs. Sam will cover techniques for getting your projects off the ground swiftly, reducing the time traditionally spent on coding and troubleshooting, allowing for greater focus on the fun part, building and exploration! We will also outline the rise of autonomous agents for development, and discuss the future of software engineering from an AI first perspective.

We will have small breakout room sessions after the talks to connect and discuss. If you would like to join us, make sure to RSVP. Looking forward to meeting you in person!
