Inipi will be the opening event for Summer Fest, and lots of other events will be going on all day, so come join us! For Colorado members, Lama Sahn is planning on driving down from COS on Fri and is looking for some company, so if you'd like to carpool with him (you can camp overnight at HHS), either contact him through meetup or I can give you his phone #!

Before you RSVP, please read the post 'Hau Tiyospaye and Mitakolas and Welcome New Members' on the Message Boards. If you've recently read this post and been to our Inipi, you don't need to read it, but if it's been awhile you should read it to familiarize yourself with protocols around Inipi. That being said, it certainly doesn't hurt to read this post every time you plan on attending, which I always do; you can't have too much info or knowledge around Inipi, and I will on occasion add or delete info. Most of your questions or concerns around Inipi should be answered by reading this post, but if not, let me know and I'll do my best to answer any questions +/or assuage any concerns. Reading this post should also make you more comfortable around sitting in Inipi, and while there is a certain amount of suffering to be expected, we want you to be aware of and follow to the best of your abilities the Traditional protocols around this Ceremony.
You can join our group if you haven't already, then click on 'More' (just under the snowy picture of our Pie Town Lodge) while on the 'About' or 'Events' page (or click on "NM/AZ/CO Red Road Sweat Lodge" on this page to the right of the Buffalo Skull), then click on "Message Boards" in the pop up menu to read and reply to the post, then go to the 'Events' page to RSVP, and you can navigate around our site to read more about Inipi. You can access the post on the mobile website (although it's pretty hard to read the post on small screens, so I recommend being on a laptop or desktop), but not from the app.

If you need any help in getting to the Message Boards (not sure why meetup doesn't make them accessible from any page) let me know and I'll get you there, or to get there directly, go to:

meetup.com/nm-az-co-red-road-sweat-lodge/messages/boards/

Sorry for the inconvenience of all this but the post is pretty long and I can't import it to any of the other groups that I post upcoming Inipi on, so my apologies, and I do communicate with members who are planning on attending by sending messages through meetup. Wopila tanka, wicozani waste, and toksa akhe!
