About us
*Please note: Meetup is not necessarily an exhaustive calendar of all happenings at NM Wild. The best way to keep up with us and hear about all events is at nmwild.org and by subscribing to our newsletter.*
NM Wild has been dedicated to the protection, restoration, and continued enjoyment of New Mexico’s wildlands and wilderness areas since 1997. We achieve our mission through administrative protection, federal wilderness designation, ongoing stewardship, and community focused organizing. We have a membership of individuals from all corners of New Mexico and across the nation. We regularly host volunteer projects, group outings, nature hikes, and more, open to all! This group is intended to connect wilderness enthusiasts for events in the Albuquerque and Central NM area.
