Caja Del Rio Trash Clean-up

Join NM Wild to clean up our public lands near Santa Fe. The Caja del Rio is a sacred land with a rich history for indigenous peoples and diverse landscape. It has a variety of ecosystems from pinon-juniper forest to dramatic basalt cliffs. NM Wild is hosting a cleanup series to preserve the beauty of this land positioned in our backyard. This volunteer event is for all ages. We ask that kids be accompanied by parent or guardian. You can expect to pick up trash for 3 hours. There is a variety of trash from small litter to large pieces of furniture. Please bring a day pack with water and snacks. We will have one pickup truck to haul trash to landfill. If there is someone else willing to bring a truck to help we will be able to remove larger items. We will provide trash grabbers, gloves (nitrile and leather), and trash bags.
