Route 66 Productions (Actors & Filmmakers)

This is a collaborative group for actors, filmmakers, and creatives who want to gain real experience by actually making films.
I created this group because I got tired of waiting around to see if I could book a role or get an opportunity. Instead of waiting, the goal here is simple: we meet, we create, and we get to work.
We are currently open and building our team. Right now anyone is welcome to join, but once we establish a solid core group, we may close off new members to stay focused and consistent.
This is a no-budget environment. We work with what we have, use available resources, and find ways to make things happen. The focus is on effort, creativity, and teamwork—not expensive gear or perfect conditions.
The style behind this group is inspired by classic films like Road House, Tremors, Urban Cowboy, Speed, Jason Bourne, Under Siege, Dirty Dancing, Top Gun, and more—movies with strong characters, real energy, and timeless storytelling.
No experience is needed. Whether you want to act, direct, film, write, edit, or help behind the scenes, you’re welcome here.
At our meetups, we:

• Share and develop film ideas
• Build small teams
• Assign roles (actors, crew, etc.)
• Plan shoots and locations
• Create real projects

The goal is to get actors and creatives actively working, building real content and experience. Our projects will be released under Route 66 Productions, with the intention of sharing them on social media and submitting to film festivals.
This is a hands-on space where everyone contributes, learns, and grows together. The focus is on building a portfolio, gaining experience, and creating something real—starting from nothing.
