What we’re about
Welcome to the No Fret Society—a laid-back, structured, and supportive jam group for beginner to intermediate acoustic musicians. This group is for players who know their basic open chords and can occasionally handle a barre chord or two. If you've been practicing at home and are ready to play with others, you're in the right place!
Each jam session is designed to be approachable but musically engaging. We rotate through a curated songbook of beginner/intermediate tunes—giving everyone a chance to lead, follow, or just listen in until they’re ready.
What to Expect:
- A welcoming, no-pressure environment
- Opportunities to lead or co-lead songs
- A rotating song list that we all contribute to
- Emphasis on rhythm, feel, and playing together—not perfection!
What to Bring:
- Acoustic instrument (guitar, ukulele, mandolin, etc.)
- Printed or digital copy of the jam songbook
- A good attitude and a willingness to join in
