Techniques in Functional JavaScript

We are pleased to announce that Jonathan Walters will be presenting a talk called "Techniques in Functional JavaScript". He'll talk about partial application, currying, and function composition.

JavaScript is a super important language, with functional roots, and so this is an important topic. Functional techniques for everyone.

We are so happy to announce that Hack Night has finally settled down after a tumultuous couple of months. Hack Night happens every Tuesday, and is a cornerstone of many a tech worker's weekly schedule. Ace is a cool hotel that has been very supportive of Hack Night while we looked for a stable venue.

I checked out the presentation space we'll use for this presentation and it is awesome. I hope you come out to learn JavaScript, check out the new location, and hang out with other techies!

The presentation will be between 7pm and 8pm, then we'll be right in the middle of the social action happening right outside the space. Hack Night continues late into the night.
