Property Based Testing in Ruby with Ben Eckel

Details

Hello!

Folks, if you haven't done property-based testing, well, you're in for a treat. It's traditionally done in functional languages like Haskell, Erlang, and Clojure. But Mr. Ben Eckel has gone and done it in Ruby. Why? That's how he rolls. And to bring us into his roll, he's here to tell us all about it.

Title: Property Based Testing in Ruby

Abstract: Property based testing is a powerful tool used by functional programmers to gain confidence in the correctness of their code. Can you do property-based testing in an object-oriented, dynamically typed language? This will be a gentle introduction to the method and an experiment to use it on Ruby code.

Rock on, folks!
Eric
