Polipoli Redwood & Plum Trails

Come enjoy a Kula Forest Reserve Polipoli adventure!
Together we will hike the beautiful Redwood and Plum trails, experience breathtaking views, fresh air, and lovely flora all while hiking at ~6000' elevation on a mostly shaded trail.
Total Distance: ~5.5 miles
Total Elevation Gain: ~1700'
Rating: Moderate (due to distance and ascents)

What to Bring
Water, good shoes, snacks, layers (keep an eye on the weather), and of course you're a little hot spirit.
Optional: hiking poles, camera...

Where to Meet
The dirt road to access the trailhead requires an SUV or truck. I could fit five in my truck and four to five more in the bed.
Let's Carpool
NLT 8:00 First meeting point (if necessary) the Kahului Safeway off the Honda highway (gas station side of parking lot).
NLT 8:30 let's meet at the Up-Country Longs Drugs, back of parking lot.
If you are driving yourself, please be at the trailhead by 9:30.
