Waihe'e Ridge Plus Bonus Hike

Let's get together and hike one of the most popular trails (for good reason) on Maui. Then let's go do something really special (stay tuned). 😉

This group hike will be at a casual pace, but plan on challenging yourself on the many steep sections of this beautiful trail.

Once at the top, we can snack, drink, enjoy the views, and then head down.
This 4.5 mile hike should take approximately 2.5 hours.

Hike at a pace you are comfortable with, focusing on safely navigating up and back, avoiding slipping and injury.

Part 2
Pu'u Koa'e at Kahakuloa!
You've all seen it! if you were on the North shore from Haiku to Wailuku, you can see the great big rock that Jettison's out into the ocean, beyond Waihe'e. Yes, you can climb it! if you enjoy bouldering/scrambling, and are not afraid of heights, this is an event for you. the entire adventure will be less than half a mile, but the payoff is spectacular, and you'll enjoy an adventure very few people have experienced. Expect to spend approximately an hour here.

As always, I encourage carpooling when feasible. and I'm happy to drive people from Waihe'e to Pu'u Koa'e. 👍🏽

What to Bring

• Water
• Comfortable footwear with good traction.
• Camera to capture beautiful Western Mountains and North Shore views (and selfies)
• Optional: Snack, poles...
• Mandatory: Aloha-Spirit!
