A different kind of preparedness group, for the forward thinking prepper. Think just as much "groom and bloom" as "doom and gloom". We are looking to assemble a dedicated core of capable individuals and familial units. The purpose is to concentrate not only on the traditional facets of prepping, but to go beyond and use these skills and resources to our advantage in daily modern life (on the off chance that it may continue as we know it. ;))
I have been a member of several formal and informal groups, and have learned much and made wonderful friends in all of them. I have also realized much of what makes them eventually fizzle and fail. This will not be a "get together once every couple months and talk about bug-out bags." kind of group. Active involvement will be required by all members. Investment of time and resources will be necessary. The short term goal is to assemble a team and forge it into a cohesive functioning crew. Medium and long term goals will be discussed and refined as we meet and train and grow.

- Just about anyone who is an expert in anything.
This is NOT a group for anyone with a yearning for violence, anti government actions, confrontations with others of differing worldviews, or a penchant for racism. None of these will be tolerated at all, and will be grounds for dismissal if repeatedly displayed. Political action may be on the table for those agreeable to it during critical election times, but will otherwise not be a regular part of activities, as it's usually just a distraction from what really matters.
The vision is there. The signs are clear. We know what is needed. Time is short. Let's thrive and have fun with it!
