👋 Hi, I’m Leon. I started this group after battling a gambling addiction—especially sports betting—for over 7 years. I lost over £90,000, nearly became homeless in London (2018) + again in Manchester (2019), and became completely isolated from friends and family.
The years 2024–2025 were my lowest point. I nearly took my own life. But I got help. I’ve just been discharged from the NHS Gambling Unit, and now I’m on the road to recovery.
Now, I want to raise awareness, meet others who are struggling, and help create a path toward healing and hope.
