GenAI Support Chatbots in AWS
Many organizations have large amounts of valuable internal documentation, but users often struggle to find exactly what they need in a timely. A GenAI chat interface can make extracting that value much easier than simple document search. At this talk, I'll explore AWS AI services that work together to provide an intelligent chatbot interface:
- Lex, for interacting with the user and understanding intent
- Kendra, the enterprise search index
- Bedrock Knowledge Bases, for supplying context to the chat response
You will learn how these services interact with each other as well as other services such as Lambda and IAM to provide secure, convenient access to private data. I'll also look at the new S3 Vectors feature and discuss pros and cons vs Kendra.
