# πŸ“š October Book Club: The Courage to Be Disliked

How much of your life is shaped by what other people think of you?
What if you didn't need everyone's approval to live the life you actually want?
And is it really possible to stop being controlled by the expectations, judgments, and opinions of others?
Throughout October, we'll spend one month reading The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga.
Based on the ideas of Alfred Adler, the book challenges some deeply held assumptions about happiness, relationships, freedom, and self-worth.
Each Monday, we'll discuss the ideas together, question them, connect them to our own experiences, and explore what they might mean in real life.
We'll explore topics such as:

🧠 Why we care so much about other people's opinions
🎭 The difference between living your life and living according to expectations
πŸͺž How our past influences β€” but doesn't have to determine β€” our future
🀝 Relationships, boundaries, and interpersonal freedom
❀️ The courage to be disliked
🌱 What it means to take responsibility for your own happiness

No pressure to finish the whole book before joining.
Even if you've only read a chapter β€” or simply want to listen to the discussion β€” you are very welcome.
Bring your curiosity, your reflections, and an open mind.
Let's spend October exploring one liberating question:
What would you do differently if you didn't need everyone to like you?
