About us
Welcome to NOD (Not.Only.Design) Community Meetup — for people whose job title says “designer,” but whose day-to-day work spans far beyond design.
In real teams, we facilitate decisions, shape product strategy, run research, define systems, align stakeholders, and help ship. This community is a place to sharpen that broader craft—product design, UX/UI, design strategy, design thinking, and the tools/tech changing how we work.
Join us for thoughtful discussions, networking, and skill-building workshops. Whether you’re early in your career or leading teams, you’ll find practical insights and people who get the reality of the work.

Inclusive Interfaces: Building Accessibility Into Every Design Decision
·OnlineOnlineAccessibility isn't a checklist you run at the end—it's a design lens you apply from the first flow, component, and content decision.
In this fireside chat, we'll talk with an accessibility expert about how product designers can build accessible experiences that work for real users, across real constraints. We'll cover:
- What “accessible” actually means in practice (beyond color contrast)
- How to design for accessibility early : flows, components, and content that reduce friction for everyone
- How to validate your work : quick checks in design, what to ask in dev handoff, and what to test before release
- How to prioritize : deciding which accessibility needs to design for first, based on risk, impact, and user context
- Common pitfalls in modern UI patterns (tables, modals, dashboards, charts, forms) and how to avoid them
Expect concrete examples, actionable frameworks, and a Q&A where you can bring your own product scenarios.
Who it's for: Product designers, UX/UI designers, design leads, PMs, and anyone shipping digital experiences.
Takeaway: A practical mental model + lightweight workflow to build accessibility into everyday design decisions.***
