Node.js inventor and former project lead Ryan Dahl gave a talk at JSConf EU recently in which he discussed some of his early Node.js design decisions that he thinks were mistakes. Ryan also presented an overview of his new project, https://github.com/ry/deno, in which he attempts to rectify those mistakes!

Let's watch his talk and then talk about Ryan's mistakes and his new project! This will be a casual, unstructured discussion for Node.js lovers of all levels of experience.
