This is our first meetup after a long break, and we’re excited to bring the Node.js community back together. Join us as we reconnect with old friends, meet new members, and reignite the Node.js vibe!

Talk One: Lambda functions in AWS with NodeJS

Intro to Serverless with AWS Lambda Functions In today’s fast-evolving tech world, serverless is transforming how we build scalable architecture by allowing engineers to focus on the code logic while the infrastructure is handled by the cloud provider. In this session, we will discuss the fundamentals of serverless with Lambda functions, have a quick introduction to NodeJS runtime and how to get a working lambda function in AWS.

Talk Two: How Typescript helps us sleep well at night

An approach for building type safe Typescript services which share types among various stack levels from infrastructure up to the frontend. It's a hands on presentation showing battle tested insights and lessons learned refined by a few successful multiservice projects

Talk Three: Vramework: The Framework to Unite Them All

The Node.js ecosystem offers incredible options—from AWS Lambda and Cloudflare Workers to the maturity of Express and the speed of Bun.js and uWS servers. Contentful has offered to host our meetup in their incredible event space in Berlin! This will also include pizza and drinks. I'm extremely grateful for their support and help bringing this meetup back!

We'll be printing name tags for all attendees, and will have to close the list a few days before the event to get them all ready. Joining early will give us more opportunity to figure out how much food to order and prepare the place accordingly.
