Everybody uses Node.js today. While watching Netflix, buying something on ebay or while paying with PayPal, all is run with Node.js.
As such it's about time to get the local community together to let it grow even further!
If you are interested in getting to know someone of the Node.js technical leadership to ask deep technical questions or just nerd around about the newest Node.js trend, this is the event for you!
We are not only going to have an awesome speaker with a great talk but we'll also have a discussion and Q&A session around Node.js and JavaScript in general. You always wanted to ask a deep technical question or wondered how something works with Node.js? You'll get an answer in our Q&A session. Get involved and have your say with what happens next.

## Streams and Backpressure

Working on infrastructure for a video CDN made me finally figure out what backpressure, streams and async primitives mean. In this talk we'll go over what the basic async primitives are, discuss things like "observables" and "async iterators", and figure out what watermarks are and why we'd want them.
Benjamin is a Node.js core collaborator from Israel, core team at Bluebird, Sinon, MobX and other open source libraries. He is frequently speaking on conferences around the globe and is a strong community lover, trying to empower others.
