TOPICS THAT WE ARE GOING TO COVER 📚

1. Package management in monorepos
We’ll talk about some of the pain points and look into recipes for effective package management in monorepos. We’ll discuss how package management works with npm, pnpm, and Yarn. Furthermore, I’ll show you a new tool that is less known but improves developer experience by a lot.

2. Enough of the components already!
Since the early 2010s, the main paradigm to structure our code on the frontend is components. You cannot find a modern UI framework that is not based on components. They helped us to reuse a tremendous amount of code compared to the jQuery days. However, their pervasive use across all aspects of codebases, even beyond UI rendering, has led to challenges. Many modern tools and libraries are now deeply intertwined with components, affecting code reusability and testability and tying our work too closely to specific frameworks. If we follow a couple of practices to decouple our code, they will make it easier to test and reuse, not just on the component level, but in our business logic as well. In this talk, I will demonstrate how we can achieve that.
