Nodeschool #20 - Remote #3! 🏡💻

Details

Dear Nodeschoolers,

Third time's a charm! 🔮 Due to the ongoing situation with Covid19, we'll be here for you online! So as usual, we'll meet to support each other learning & coding within the Node.js ecosystem. If it's your first time at the Nodeschool, don't be afraid to pop in and check it out!

We'll post the link on the day of the event! 🔗 (And we'll check out a nice little platform to mingle and learn)

So what's Nodeschool about?
Join us and learn to code together. 👨‍💻👩‍💻 You are going to learn the basics of Node.js by doing self-guided exercises with experienced mentors at hand.
It's a plus if you know some JavaScript beforehand, but if not we can help you out (and you can learn the foundations with #javascripting).

You will go through a set of self-paced challenges. No boring talks or intros! All challenges are Open Source and available online on nodeschool.io https://nodeschool.io/. This means you can continue learning after the event.

Agenda:
19:00 Welcome and short introduction
19:15 Let's get workshoppin!
~21:00 Feedback round & Goodbye

We think coding is awesome and everyone should feel welcome at our event. This means that we are expecting all participants to be awesome to each other and respect the Code of Conduct https://github.com/nodeschool/augsburg/blob/gh-pages/code_of_conduct.md .

Be a mentor 👩‍🏫 👨‍🏫
You already know JavaScript and/or Node.js? You want to help others out with struggling through the workshops? Great! We are looking for mentors who want to support us with running the NodeSchool. Drop us a short note at nodeschool@peerigon.com. We would greatly appreciate it!

ℹ️ 💻 You'll need a Laptop and at best Node.js already installed 💻 ℹ️
