Sat. 7p: visual artist MAN RAY = documentary + his own short films + discussion

Details
Join us Saturday, April 27, for a 7pm showing and discussion of a few short films about and by Man Ray -- starting with Episode 9 of the "Artists of the 20th Century" series (50 minutes).
An indefatigable experimenter who participated in the Cubist, Dadaist and Surrealist art movements, Man Ray (1890-1976) was an American visual artist who spent most of his career in Paris. He produced major works in a variety of media but considered himself a painter above all. He was best known for his photography, and he was a renowned fashion and portrait photographer. Man Ray is also noted for his work with photograms, which he called "rayographs".
