Day 1: Arrival & Vedauwoo Campground
- Settle into your site among the mighty Sherman granite boulders at Vedauwoo Campground. There is a free primitive camping area as well as a fee-based campground with picnic tables, vault toilets, hand-pump water, and fire rings. Both are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Within the camping area, you can scramble, boulder, or hike the nearby trails.
- Evening vibes around a campfire beneath a broad sky; ideal for star-gazing. BONUS: We will be here during the annual Perseid meteor shower.
Day 2: Curt Gowdy Waterfall Hike & Paddleboarding or Mountain Biking
- Morning drive (25 min) to Curt Gowdy State Park
- Hike Hidden Falls via Crow Creek Trail (3.6 mi round-trip), winding through granite outcrops and pine forest with creek crossings and a scenic waterfall endpoint.
- Afternoon paddle session on Granite Springs Reservoir-canoe, kayak, or paddleboard on calm waters amid stunning cliffs
- Bike Curt Gowdy's IMBA "Epic" trail network: ride loops like Stone Temple, Mo' Rocka, or Fox Tail-tailored to intermediate/advanced riders
Day 3: Final Day Vedauwoo
- Hike a short nature loop or scramble near camp
- Take final photo ops among rock formations
- Pack up and depart, energized by a whirlwind of outdoor thrills
