It’s Valentine’s weekend adventure in Jordan
Wadi Musa, JOUnwind with Nomadista Adventures in a Jordanian journey through time. Visit Ancient religious and historical places. Explore Wadi Rum with us which was not only where the iconic film Lawrence of Arabia was shot in Jordan in the 1960s but where the protagonist, Captain T.E. Lawrence, also fought his real life battles against the Ottoman Empire on what is now Jordanian soil.
Visit the ancient city of Petra that became one of the 7 New Wonders of the World when it was chosen in 2007 by a vote of 100 million people. The city's carved rose-red sandstone rock facades, tombs, and temples became known around the world with its appearance in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade in 1989.
DAY One: (AIRPORT- Jesus Babtism Site in Jordan River- Dead Sea- Overnight in Petra) : We will leave the airport and head straight early morning to The Dead Sea Jordan Valley and visit the Babtism site. There you will have a guided tour and revisit the stories of the bible . You will literally be standing few meters away from Israel West Bank where you might even witness some Baptism ceremonies taking place in both banks of Jordan River. Then we will head to the stunning Dead Sea where you will have a day at leisure in the hotel enjoying Dead sea Mud baths and immersing in the skin therapeutic dead sea water. After Lunch , we will head to Petra to our hotel facing the gate of Petra and have Dinner. Overnight in 3 stars hotel in Petra.
Day Two: ( Petra tour and sleep in Wadi Rum): Breakfast at the hotel early morning We will head at 7:00am to start our visit to the old Nabatean city of Petra and spend the day exploring and visiting the Ancient sites including the famous Treasury, Al Seeq and the Royal Tombs ( you need around 5 hours to visit Petra) then it will be lunch time at a local restaurant in Wadi Musa.
Afterwards, we will head to Wadi Rum (around 2 hours driving). We will then embark on a 4x4 Jeep Safari around 5 pm in the desert to watch the stunning sunset and have a traditional Jordanian dinner at the campsite.
Day Three: (Wadi Rum- Mount Nebo- Madaba- Airport transfer) : In the morning we will have sunrise Safari to visit Lawrence of Arabia Tent and some petroglyphs and amazing rock formations. Then breakfast at the camp and we will leave Wadi Rum around 4 hours to Madaba the famous city of ancient mosaics. We will visit Mount Nebo in relation to the story of the prophet Moses and will have lunch there and then head for the airport which marks the end of our trip.

Our guided tour takes you deep into the winding labyrinth of Snake Gorge left fork, where towering walls of rock create a natural oasis of serenity. As you navigate through the narrow passages and crystal-clear pools, you'll be surrounded by the mesmerizing echoes of flowing water.
Our experienced guides will lead you safely through the twists and turns of this geological wonder, revealing hidden secrets and sharing stories of the gorge's rich history.
Day One : Saturday :You will leave Dubai early in the morning and head to Al Rustaq where we will meet our guide who will drive us in a off road track to the start of the snake gorge trail the Left Fork.
The Snake Canyon is a very narrow canyon located in Wadi Bani Awf. In some parts of the canyon, you can touch both sides at the same time… We'll start from the secondary entrance. No abseiling is required. You'll just have fun by jumping (max 4 meters), sliding, walking in the water and short swimming! For those who don't want to jump, we install short abseils. You will swim and walk through the canyon cross a cave.
It is level beginner + to intermediate canyon hike. It has exciting obstacles
in the water which you can pass with good laughs and teamwork. The total canyoneering distance is 3km total. All safety gears will be provided such as
Life jackets and helmets.Then we will have our dinner in an old Omani house turned into an eco lodge in wadi Bani Auf.
In the morning we will have a traditional Omani Breakfast and then our local guide will take us on an old village hike of Balad Sayt.

The villagers, known for their warm hospitality, may offer you a glimpse into their traditional way of life, sharing stories and perhaps a cup of Omani coffee and lunch from a panoramic view.
After the hike is over ,you will head for Al Rustaq . and then we will go and visit Al Rustaq traditional market for some traditional souvenirs and some Karak Tea. Afterwards you will head back Dubai Bound.

This time we are heading to Wadi Al Nakhar for an unforgettable experience back to life in its simplicity with candle lit guest house and amazing views of Jabal Shams, the highest mountain in the Hajar mountains range.
Under the highest mountain of Oman you will find the most amazing canyon of this country – Wadi Al Nakhr. The surrounding walls are over 1000–1500 meters above the bottom of the canyon. the view from the canyon is truly breathtaking. Disconnect from city hustle and bustle away from wifi and noise to immerse yourself in a detox natural experience. Enjoy nature hiking to a pool and overnight at guest house Glamping under the stars or staying indoors at the canyon guesthouse. Enjoy a candle lit dinner with a group of nomads and live the old authentic Omani lifestyle for one full day.
Day One on Saturday: We will leave Dubai early morning aiming to reach the start of the off road track of the canyon where we will be welcomed by Omani 4x4 cars to transport us to the guesthouse where we will watch set up sleepover and watch sunset in the guesthouse and then enjoy a hearty dinner with candle lights. You could opt to camp under the starts if you bring your own tent or sleep in the old Omani house and get a feel of how the Omanis lived long time ago. We will spend some time star gazing and enjoying night stories in a beautiful terrace around the bonfire and we will also enjoy an Omani folklore music . Overnight in an old traditional house.
Day two Sunday : We will wake up to have an Omani breakfast and then head for an Intermediate level hike to the Emerald pool and to visit a cave in the canyon. Then we will head back to the guesthouse to join the 4x4s to get back to our cars at the start of the canyon off road.
We will then head to Welayat Al Hamra for lunch and then head for a walk and a drink in a café in Misfat Alebryeen , a picturesque mountain village with beautiful views of Palm tree Farms and authentic Omani Falaj systems. We will walk around the old village and take memorable photos.Included:

-Accommodation in an old Omani house with toilets in a twin sharing basis with (single occupancy supplement of AED 150 is available)
-4x4 off road transportation from the start of the wadi to the guest house and return trip.

Ghost Village and Stargazing overnight glamping adventure in U.A.E
Mleiha Archaeological Centre, Sharjah, AEByThe time has come in which we can enjoy the cool weather of the U.A.E. The drive the time will be short and accessible to all cars. No 4x4 needed for this weekend adventure. Relax and unwind under the stars. Let's have a wonderful time meeting new travelling friends.
Day one : Looking at the awesome Dubai skyline with its epic range of towering skyscrapers, it’s difficult to comprehend that not too far from the city is a mysterious ghost village gradually being consumed by the desert. Located near Al Madam Sharjah, the history of this village is mysteriously bewildering, to say the least.
Fuelling the mystery surrounding this eerie location is that no-one truly knows why the village was abandoned in the first place. So, let’s visit this abandoned village, take lots of mesmerizing pictures and watch sunset while we sip our Karak Tea.
Then we will head to Maleiha Archeological center to our camp spot where we will be greeted with Karak tea and coffee and settle in our tents.
We will enjoy some games until dinner time and then we will have a star gazing session with a professional guide and then enjoy some hearty conversations around the bonfire. You will be provided with seperate tents and there are fully equipped toilets with showers provided.Day Two : We will have a 4x4 drive to a view point rock to enjoy Sunrise and then head back to enjoy Breakfast at the camp. Then we head to visit Al Buhais Museum and enjoy the nice weather in the Cafe. Buhais centre heading to learn about how we seperated from Africa with Geological proof from this area. You have the optional choice of enjoying horse riding for one hour at the cost of AED 150 (prior booking is required to arrange the horses; note that maximum weight for horse riding is 90 KG)
