Imagine trading your normal weekend for turquoise pools, cool canyon breezes, ancient souqs, seaside dinners, and a scenic mountain village you’ve never heard of but will never forget.
This is your Oman Water Weekend — two beginner-friendly canyons, zero stress, maximum magic.

Early Saturday at 6 a.m., we roll out of Dubai and journey toward Oman. After the border crossing, the landscape opens and the fun begins. Two hours later, we reach our first oasis: Wadi Al-Huqayn, famous for its gentle sulfur pools and layered rock formations. Think warm cascades, clear water, soft swims, and photos so pretty your friends will accuse you of using filters. Kids love it, adults melt into it, and the pace is sweet and easy.

After freshening up, we continue another two hours to Muscat, where we check in to our hotel and enjoy a slow lunch. Then comes the charm—Matrah Souq, one of Oman’s oldest bazaars. Frankincense, silver, handmade treasures… perfect souvenirs and even better memories.

As sunset settles over the city, we head to Al-Qurm Corniche for dinner by the sea. Good food, easy vibes, and that gentle Muscat breeze. After dinner, we return to our hotel for a peaceful night’s rest.

Sunday morning starts with breakfast at the hotel before we drive toward the emerald valleys of Wadi Tiwi. Our local guide meets us and takes us on a scenic mountain track up to Mibam village, a hidden balcony above the canyon. Here, we dip, swim, jump, and wander through a chain of stunning water pools—beginner-friendly, refreshing, and perfect for families and first-timers.

After the adventure, we enjoy a local lunch in the village, then descend back to the base of Wadi Tiwi, where our cars await. From there, we make our relaxed drive back to Dubai, returning with tired legs, happy hearts, and phones full of memories.
