Your Activity
Stingless Bee Workshop & Honey Tasting
Your morning begins at Pak Nyoman’s home bee farm, a quiet family-run space surrounded by flowering plants that feed the stingless bees. Here, you’ll learn how these tiny bees live, how their honey is made, and why Pak Nyoman chooses a fully natural approach. No sugar feeding, no pesticides, and no forced production. You’ll see a hive opened safely and watch a real harvesting demo. The session ends with a hands-on moment where you can taste the honey, and later on, you will get your own 100 ml of Madu Kele-Kele honey to take home.
Village Lunch & Relax
After the workshop, enjoy a slow, simple lunch under the shade of the trees. This is your time to unwind, you’re free to explore the small farm, ask Pak Nyoman about farming practices, browse honey products, or simply rest and enjoy the village atmosphere before heading to the river.
Lazy River Tubing
The day continues with a short ride to Penarungan for an easy, peaceful tubing experience. You’ll float along a gentle river framed by bamboo groves and greenery, letting the current carry you through the calm water for about half an hour. It’s relaxing, refreshing, and a perfect way to end the day.
Our Impact
Supporting Local Farmers
Every visit supports Pak Nyoman’s family and their effort to keep traditional honey production alive. Your visit helps fund new bee-friendly plants and shares knowledge about Trigona bees with the younger generation.
Bees First, Always
At Madu Kele-Kele, the Trigona bees are cared for with respect. Honey is only harvested when there’s extra, so the bees always keep enough for themselves. The hives are placed in quiet, pesticide-free areas surrounded by natural flowers.
