In this self-inquiry-led session, we gently turn attention toward a simple yet profound question. Is there truly a fixed personal self here, or is it something assumed, imagined, or believed without direct verification?

From the perspective of non-duality, much of our suffering seems to arise from taking ourselves to be a separate individual, a centre that owns thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This sense of being someone appears so natural that it is rarely questioned.

Yet when looked at closely, does this self actually exist in the way it is believed to?
Together, we will explore this not as a philosophy, but as a living inquiry. Through guided looking, simple questions, and shared silence, we will examine our direct experience. Thoughts arise, sensations move, emotions come and go, but is there a solid entity behind them? Or is there only a seamless flow of experiencing, without a fixed owner?

This is not about denying the functional person or rejecting life.
Rather, it is an invitation to see clearly what is truly here, beyond assumptions. As this exploration deepens, there can be a natural softening of struggle, a lightness, and a quiet recognition that what we are is not limited to a separate self.

No prior experience is needed. Only a willingness to look honestly and rest in what is already present.
