PWYC Play: Zastrozzi: The Master of Discipline

"Zastrozzi, Europe's greatest criminal, seeks revenge on Verezzi, the man who killed his mother. For this task, Zastrozzi recruits Matilda and Bernardo, fellow criminals, to help entrap, humiliate, and dispatch Verezzi. The only person keeping Verezzi alive is Victor, Verezzi’s beleaguered servant. Julia, a local aristocrat, is also pulled unknowingly into the web of deception, sex, and violence. The struggle of nihilism, evil and virtue has begun and no one is safe."

The show is presented at The Refinery on Dufferin Ave. Please note, the location is not wheel chair accessible and will require utilizing stairs to get to the box-office, washroom, and the theatre.

The box office and downstairs lounge open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7:30pm (I will arrive for 6:30pm). The show is estimated to end at 9:45. There will be a 15 minute intermission during the show. (please note, the time is only an estimate right now as the play has not yet gone into rehearsal. Once we get closer to date I'll contact the theatre to get a more accurate end time).

This is a preview performance that offers Pay What You Choose tickets (you decide how much you pay for your ticket) purchasable direct from the box office in the hour before the show begins. It's rush seating so there's no need to worry about picking/getting specific seats. We will meet in the downstairs lounge (drinks are available for purchase and are permitted in the theatre) before the show and then get seating together once the theatre doors open.
