Not-for-profit volunteering - Fundraiser & Lupus Patient Event

This is a Not-for-Profit planning meeting for Lupus Friends and Family Foundation Inc. (A 501(c)(3) company - www.LupusFriendsAndFamily.org). We are focused on spreading love, support and resources to patients suffering from Lupus.

We are looking for volunteers who want to help plan 2 fundraisers: live patient event on May 7, 2016 and an online auction prior to (probably March or April 2016). This is our first auction and big event - and we need all the expertise and clever brains we can get to ensure success.

Volunteers can have various skills: Event planning, fundraising, online auctions, website management, marketing, PR, promotions, volunteer recruitment, social media, blogging, sales, project management, have media and celebrity connections, knows someone with lupus, and/or just want to help out with whatever. Above all we are seeking happy people with a positive attitude and a smile on their faces. We are truly trying to make a difference here and you could be a critical part of that.

At this planning meeting, you will hear about the fundraiser projects and overall object of the not-for-profit organization. We will discuss needs and wants and how you can help. We will assign duties based on your interests and skills. You decide how much time and assistance you can offer. We are just grateful for your participation and interest.

We are having this planning meeting at EVENTLAND's (www.eventland.nyc) office in Times Square. Beverages and cookies will be served.
