Eastern Sierras Camping (Please read everything below)

I am really excited to return to the eastern Sierras. We will be at French Camp, situated at Tom's Place. This is between Bishop and Mammoth.

Hiking opportunities are vast, and the creekside campground is convenient for fishing. The facility is large and inviting, with forest and mountain views and several amenities. The larger towns of Bishop and Mammoth offer restaurants, shopping, and the opportunity to rent an e-bike. There is an abundance of biking trails.

Everyone who RSVPs yes and has not paid will go to the not going list until they have paid. No refunds for any reason, so choose to pay wisely. Price is $85 by Venmo or PayPal. Wood is not included. Please plan to bring/buy/forage(if permitted) during the trip. Local wood is best. Always be prepared for fire restrictions.

We have 2 campsites side by side. There is a maximum of 2 cars at each site. Carpooling is encouraged because there are only 4 legal parking spots, although people park on the grass illegally. You may need to park your car out of the campground, but we can drive you back from where you park it. I can take someone, but I am likely backpacking in Yosemite after the trip, so you would need to come along. PM me if you are interested.

There are no refunds for any reason.

Please adhere to the 1 guest rule. Do not have 3 or more people sign up individually. I do this to encourage socializing in the group and to discourage clicks. If you violate this rule, you may be removed from the group.

I hereby release and agree to hold NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group. I understand that this release discharges NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group. This liability waiver and release extends to the NorCal and Beyond Camping Meetup Group together with all Organizers, Leaders and Campers.
