2day Mini Bike Tour to SPT, off-weekend (for those of us who don't work the 9-5)

Details

Hi all,

I'm going to head out to SPT State Park hike n bike camp for an overnight STARTING on Memorial Day for one night of camping under the redwoods with the owls (hoot hoot).

I've had a few interested from the city, and I'm coming from Emeryville.

It's about 40 miles from SF or Emeryville to SPT, with really just one little hill - White Hill, towards the end.

I can meet you anywhere on the Bay Trail from Emeryville to the RSR Bridge. Or in Marin County. Feel free to reach out to set up a meeting spot (though we will have to limit them lest we never arrive!). Point Richmond could be a good spot in the East Bay.

UPDATE: I plan to leave between 9 and 10am from E-ville. Route here. Expect a 10-12mph pace (or meet us there at your own pace).

I like to stop for donuts at Larkspur Landing, about 2 hours in...
I also plan to stop for lunch both days.
That leaves dinner. We can either cook at camp (lovely), or head back into Lagunitas where there is a decent Indian Restaurant. I'm open.

I think camping is $10/person. If we have enough, it might be cheaper to get a spot. We can decide day of. Bring cash for camping and cash/cards for food.

UPDATE: There is a swimming hole not far from the camp down the gravel bike path, there is hiking, and of course biking that we could do if we get there early. We could also head into Point Reyes station for breakfast at the bakery there on Tues if peeps want.

Q's - ask. It's my first time organizing a tour for others. Be kind. :)
