Introduction to React Workshop by Dana Woodman

Learn the basics of React and build your first React application in a hands on workshop. We will start with an overview of what React is and why you'd use. Then we will learn the basic building blocks of React including props vs state, event handling, structuring your apps and using ES6/7. Finally we will collaboratively build a todo applications using React in small teams. We will conclude with an open QA session. You should have experience with JavaScript to take this workshop as we won't go into basic JavaScript syntax. We will have coffee and donuts and will break for lunch. Suggested donation of $10-20.
