Ride Experience Level: Intermediate. There will be plenty of country roads and mountain twisties.
Ride description: We'll be heading towards the coast along the Bohemian Hwy to the small, quaint town of Occidental. On the way out, we'll stop off at Turtle Rock for a beverage and a stretch, then head to Occidental for lunch at the Occidental Hotel (Italian food). Gas stop in Angwin.
After lunch we’ll head out to the ocean at Goat Rock Beach (there’s a whole song, ask Brigt).
On the way back, we'll take Trinity Road through the hills between Santa Rosa and Napa. Gas stop in Napa.
Ride will end at Starbucks in Winters. It may be a very hot day (it says 80’s right now but who knows??), so please come prepared for the return trip to possibly be toasty.
FREEWAY RIDING: Some freeway from West Sacramento to Davis before we hit Hwy 128 around Berryessa.
WEATHER: Occidental will be about 20 deg cooler than the valley. The return trip in the afternoon will get warm. Wear proper clothing to keep you comfortable. Bring plenty of water!
MEETUP: Chevron gas station, 4800 W Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento, CA 95691
Meet-up 7:45AM come early for (gas station) coffee and to socialize

TRIP NOTES:
- Gas stops approx. every (90) miles or as needed.
- As always, start the ride with a FULL gas tank, ride your own ride, make new friends have fun!!
SAFETY NOTES: Ride your ride.
- Be safe and be aware of your fellow riders. In town try to stay close or side by side if possible.
- Do not run stop signs or red lights. In the country or at speed ride staggered and keep a safe distance but not too far apart.
- *Please remember to BE THE MARKER at all turning points (including driveways) so that all of the riders behind you don't get behind.
- We use the CARDO for group communication. Please refrain from excessive talk when we are in a high traffic areas. :)
