Ride to Murphy’s via Sheep Ranch

Details

Ride Experience Level: Intermediate-Advanced. Good suspension recommended (don’t smash up the suspension or the pipes on your nice low cruiser on this ride!). We will check out Sheep Ranch Road which, last I rode it was rough but not dirt. Will be technical and twisty and it’s possible we may end up off-roading, so be prepared for anything!

Ride description: Resurrecting this ride that we didn’t get to do the first time I posted it. Made a few edits (improvements) to the original idea but the basic route is Fiddletown > Volcano > 26 to West Point > Railroad Flat > Sheep Ranch. We’ll come back with a slight detour through Calaveritas to 49.

Ride will end at Starbucks in Rancho Murieta.

FREEWAY RIDING: None! Just rural highways and back roads. Woohoo!

WEATHER: Saturday says rain but Sunday does not. The weather should be PERFECT and lots of green grass scenery.
