Cronan Ranch Loop, via the West Ridge Trail

Hey Everybody! Let's take advantage of the cooler weather and hike the Cronan Ranch Loop, via the West Ridge Trail. We will enjoy a moderate hike through the rolling terrain of Cronan Ranch Regional Park with its stunning scenery and spectacular views of the Sierra Foothills and South Fork of the American River. Most of the hike will be in the open with some oak woodland, and well marked trails. We’ll take the West Ridge Trail from the parking lot on Pedro Hill Road. The trail is about 6.2 miles with an elevation gain of about 600ft. Well-behaved dogs, used to other dogs are welcome. We will meet in the free parking lot at Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park Pilot Hill, CA 95664.
