Hike to and from Page Meadows in Lake Tahoe Area

SUMMARY
On this partial "out and back" and loop hike in the Sierras and Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, we will hike to and from Page Meadows via Tahoe Rim Trail and a network of trails for about 7.5 miles with an overall elevation gain of about 900 feet through golden brown meadows, pine forest, and scattered groves of aspen trees. Also, the aspens should show thier fall colors this time October of the year.
MEETING TIMES AND PLACES
For carpooling, meet 8:00am at a park and ride on Taylor Rd next to Shell Gas Station in Roseville, and the address is 1821 Taylor Rd, Roseville, CA 95661. Please pay carpool driver the current price of gas per gallon.
For those meeting directly at trailhead, meet 10:15am at 64 Acres Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead and parking lot off of Lake Blvd and HWY 89 in Tahoe City, and one of Google GPS coordinators for locating the trailhead and parking lot is 39.164512, -120.147246.
HIKING INFORMATION AND ESSENTIALS
DIFFICULTY: Intermediate due to hills and distance.
DISTANCE: About 7 and 1/2 miles.
ELEVATION: About 900 feet overall.
ROUTE: Start at 64 Acres Tahoe Rim Trail Trailhead, then hike uphill on Tahoe Rim Trail or trail number 19E00, then right on trail number 16E09E, then right Tahoe Rim Trail, then right on trail number 16E09A, then left on trail number 16E09B, then left on trail number 16E09, then left on Tahoe Rim Trail or trail 19E00 back to starting point.
ESSENTIALS: Bring water, small lunch/snacks, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, etc), hiking boots, first aid kit, warm coat/jecket in case of cold morning temps, etc.
