Balderston Loop Trail
Details
Balderston Loop is about a 9-mile intermediate trail located near Georgetown California. This lightly used loop trail provides plenty of shade and is great for horseback riding and meandering through madrones and manzanita with some cedars and pines. Some areas are overgrown. Overall strenuous hike due to length and some steady uphill climbing on the return loop. Elevation climb of about 537ft. Well-behaved dogs, comfortable with other dogs are welcome. We will wait 5 mins before starting.

Note: There is no given address for this location. When typing the address versus the coordinates into google maps or your gps, the end result will be about 1/2 mile off (before or after) from the trailhead. Just look for the yellow Horse Crossing sign from either direction (pictured below) and the trailhead will be 10 ft beyond it. If you use the coordinates, the location will be spot on. I have also included pictures of the trailhead and the Balderston Trail Sign seen from the road. Please check these out.
Bring water (and a snack if desired)
