Expect about 14.5 miles and 1600ft elevation gain AllTrails route
Early start time due to parking hassles around Lake Tahoe.
Hope to be at trailhead shortly before 8:15. Trailhead directions or type "Rubicon trailhead north" or "Calawee Cove Beach" in GPS. This is inside DL Bliss State Park so bring your poppy pass.
If carpooling expect to pay $6/hour or about $25 and possibly a share of the state park entrance fee.
Sierra hikes tend to be very popular so respect the wait-list and honor your RSVP or cancel 2 days early.
Restrooms are available at the trailhead & VikingsHolm about midway.
Bring plenty of water and lunch/snacks. Be prepared for a Sierra hike as we may encounter sun, wind, or an afternoon thundershower.
