March 12 Walk at Leita Thompson Memorial Park
Details
Meet at the parking area by the Pavilion at 2:00. start walking by 2:05. We'll walk at a moderate pace. Including the walk around the lake, it should take us about 75 minutes. There are NO restrooms here, only a couple of porta-potties. This is a little more strenuous than some walks because there is some up and down on the trail. Sneakers should be fine.
Note: Turn off of Woodstock Road (Highway 92) into Leita Thompson Park on the right. If you turn in and see the Art Center, you're at the wrong place. Get back on Hwy. 92 and take the next right. Parking by the Pavilion is on the left. If that lot is full, there is overflow parking on the other side.
